LMRC- ALSTOM METRO MAINTENANCE SIMULATORS READY FOR USE

Alstom Transport India Limited (ATIL), Bangalore, a subsidiary of Alstom, which is headquartered in France, awarded C.C Engineers a contract for the development of Simulators for the Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) Project.

Lucknow Metro is a rapid transit system serving the city of Lucknow in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The construction of the new line begun on the 27th of September, 2014 with the 8.5 km stretch from Transport Nagar to Charbagh Railway Station. Commercial operation of the line began on 5th September 2017, making it the fastest built metro rail system in the country. Full operation on the Red Line stretch from Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport metro station to Munshi Pulia metro station began operation on 9 March 2019.

The simulators will be used for training of Drivers and Maintenance staff at the training centre housed in the LMRC depot in Lucknow.
