Helicopter Simulator
The Helicopter Flight Simulation and Training Device (FSTD) is a high fidelity training solution produced jointly with AMST-Aviation B.V and E2M motion system. The Netherlands meets the initial and recurrent training needs of pilots, enabling avionics and cockpit familiarisation, flight operation, navigational and task-specific training. The FSTD replicates and simulates all aircraft systems, which include accurate force feedback for pilot's flight controls, avionics, communications, and cockpit displays.
In pursuit of the highest level of mission readiness, the FSTD incorporates customisable visual scenarios with extreme realism, high-fidelity Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) and a comprehensive Instructor Operating Station (IOS) to maximise training eectiveness.

CGI of Airport
All detailed airports have high-resolution ground texture, adjusted terrain and airfield with terminal buildings, gates, landmarks, runways, taxiways, markings and light system. Airport surrounding areas are also represented including buildings, vegetation, water bodies, road network, power lines and other features.
Night CGI of Airport
In addition to Generic Airports Database, user-defined generic airports can be constructed and integrated at any user-defined position on the globe.
Reconfigurable Generic Helipad
Generic helipads can be constructed at arbitrary positions on the globe based on a set of helipad specific parameters and other parameters, such as aiming point, flight path alignment marking and lights.
Storm Formation
VISIM visually represents a variety of atmospheric and weather effects such as 3D-clouds, precipitation effects, fog, thunderstorm, lightning, etc.
Helicopter Search-Light Simulation
VISIM offers various effects for training and simulation of searchlight simulation;
Rotor Downwash Effect
Helicopter downwash effects depending on the underlying surface, especially over desert and snow areas (brownout and whiteout)
